Usher has a meltdown on MTV!

During a segment of Tuesday's show, Usher launched into an impromptu rant that found him dismissing reports that he and his wife were separating, defending his marriage from naysayers and calling gossip about his personal life "trash." Members of the studio audience gasped and shouted their approval.
"I love my wife very, very much," he said. "There was a little rumor earlier this week about us separating. It ain't true. We in love. Get outta there," he said, raising his left hand and showing off his wedding band. "Matter of fact, I'm tired of people continuing to talk so much trash about me, know what I'm saying? And my relationship.
"My wife is not 40 years old. I love her to death and I'm a black, strong man in America standing up for my people — as a man to my wife, to my son, to my family," he continued, removing his sunglasses and talking directly into the camera. "I'm making a stand that a lot of us should make. I coulda been like any other man who has a child and live with that woman and continue to just play the game. ... I'm trying to do it the right way. This is the way your supposed to do it! Pay attention, fellas."
Usher then turned his back to the camera, while the studio audience applauded wildly. "TRL" host Damien Fahey then attempted to continue with the segment, only to be interrupted as Ush began part two of his verbal assault.
"And my wife had nothing to do with me firing my mother — nothing like that, that's trash," he said, referring to his mother, Jonetta Patton, ceasing to be his manager last year. "I hear y'all talking crazy out there, she's a beautiful black woman. Stop. Stop talking. And I love her. Stop it."
With that, Fahey threw to Usher's "Love in this Club" video, all while the crooner insisted, "I'm not done ... can I say something else?"...............

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to take a break from acting!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are reportedly planning to stay in France after welcoming their twins into the world.
Jolie is preparing to give birth in the south of France, and father Brad is planning to take a break from acting to stay with his partner in Europe.
A source tells the Mail On Sunday, “Brad and Angie want to base themselves in the South of France after the birth.
“They have found a house and Angelina has talked about taking time out to be a full-time mother. That may be a break for a year, possibly two.
“Brad is more than happy to stay in France. He loves the whole feeling there. He cycles around the village lanes and takes his kids into the country.”

Speed Racer is already called a BOMB!

SATURDAY AM: As expected, Marvel's Iron Man is the blockbuster No. 1 for the second week in a row. According to distributor Paramount, it took in a str0ng $15 million Friday from 4,111 theaters (-62% from its opening) for what should be a $50 million weekend. Its new cume is a monster $141.4M. But the big story this weekend is what a big bomb Warner Bros' has released. It's now official: Speed Racer is the first domestic box office disaster of the summer (although the PG pic should do better overseas). It placed only No. 3 Friday, well behind Fox's romantic comedy What Happens In Vegas, which opened with $7.1 million from 3,215 venues for what should be a $20 million weekend.
But back to Speed Racer: despite a wide release into 3,606 theaters, the anime actioner opened Friday with only $6.1 million (and some studios said it was merely $5.7M). Even if today's kiddie matinees generate some of the usual high-octane and the movie moves up a notch to second place, it still won't move Speed Racer out of the slow lane or approach Warner Bros' own expectations of a mid-$30s million debut (and that was down from a hoped-for $40 mil a few days before...). The alarming fact is this film will struggle to even make $20 million for the weekend. At an estimated cost of at least $140 million (some sources put the final budget as high as $185 million), this family fare is yet another case of a studio letting talent run amok: the Wachowski siblings of Matrix fame delivered a long, loud, and lousy movie that the Warner Bros bosses were contractually powerless to fix.

Actress Minnie Driver has denied Californian musician Craig Zolezzi is the father of her unborn child. The Good Will Hunting star confirmed the news she was pregnant during a March 13th appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, but she was careful not to name the father of the child.
Since then reports have suggested the baby's father was Zolezzi, after it was claimed Driver had allegedly been dating him for over a year. However, now the actress has denied the rumors - insisting the pair are just friends.
She says, "Craig is not the dad! He's my great friend and he's been cool about it. I want to shield the baby's dad as much as I can because it wasn't his choice to get roped into all this stuff. It'll come out in time and there'll be some other bump people will be interested in and I'll have this baby and get on with my life."
Driver is due to give birth in August.

Lindsay Lohan fakes it on the "Ugly Betty" set!

Lindsay Lohan was "terrific" in hit TV show 'Ugly Betty'. The show's creator Silvio Horta revealed the 21-year-old actress - who has had a well-publicized battle with alcohol and drugs - was a "pleasure" to work with on the set of the show, which follows the life of Mode magazine assistant Betty Suarez.
He said: "Lindsay was terrific - a real pleasure. She came in early and was very pleasant. She plays a queen bee girl who Betty went to high school with."
"Her character Kimberly appears in a flashback dodge ball game when she does the picking - it doesn't turn out well for Betty. They are going to run into each other in the present, when Kimberly's life has taken a turn for the worst."
Horta also confirmed Lindsay will return to the show for five episodes next season.
Lindsay isn't the only celebrity to have starred in the show alongside America Ferrera. Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham appeared as magazine editor Wilhelmina Slater's bridesmaid in an episode last year while supermodel Naomi Campbell also filmed a cameo recently.
Lindsay's first appearance in the show will be broadcast in the on May 22.

Without her Dallas Cowboy boyfriend Tony Romo to keep her in check, Simpson cracked the whip on the arm of pal Zach Braff until the wee hours. Her former assistant CaCee Cobb and Cobb's "Scrubs" beau Donald Faison toasted to a great night and (interestingly) Jessica's "happiness."
"I have never felt better," the blonde bombshell was heard telling the close-knit group, adding that she was "just so excited."
Jess was toasting with a glass of champagne, so we're assuming she isn't "expecting" ... but could an engagement ring be en route? Stay tuned.
