Could Bill Clinton be Vice President???

How about a Obama/Bill Clinton ticket? :)
MSNBC:
Q. “Is the Constitution written in a way that a former two-term president could be elected as vice president? President Bill Clinton running on the same ticket with Sen. Hillary Clinton? Also if this were a possibility and something prevented her from serving out her full term, he then would become president for the third time. Has this ever happened, and if so, when?”No, it has never happened.
The Twelfth Amendment to the Constitution says the presidential electors "shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves….”
The effect of this provision is that a presidential candidate and his or her running mate must reside in different states.
Sen. Clinton and her husband are both residents of the same state. A Clinton-Clinton ticket would risk forfeiting all of New York’s 31 electoral votes. (He could quickly re-locate to Connecticut — only 12 miles from the Clintons' home in Chappaqua, N.Y., but that would seem a bit fishy, wouldn’t it?)
If elected president, Hillary Clinton could in theory appoint Bill Clinton to serve as vice president — but only if there were a vacancy in the office of vice president.

4 year old Robert Irwin bitten by Boa Constrictor!

Disturbing!
Exposay:
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree for "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin's son. The late crocodile wrangler's son, Robert, was recently bitten by a baby boa constrictor and wasn't fazed by the experience.
According to the Associated Press, Irwin's widow Terri and her children Bindi and Robert were making an appearance at FAO Schwarz when Terri announced that Robert had bitten by a baby boa constrictor.
The snake was not venomous and the four-year-old was proud to have been bitten. Bindi, who is 9 years old, was first bitten when she was 18 months old.
Their father died in 2006 at the age of 44 when a stingray's barbed tail stuck into his chest.

Despite Hayden Christensen's acting skills, "Jumper" is #1.

I saw it this weekend. Decent movie, but Hayden acts with no emotion.
Reuters:
The sci-fi thriller "Jumper" leaped to the No. 1 spot at the North American box office on Sunday as moviegoers ignored critics' dire warnings for a second weekend.
The movie, in which Hayden Christensen plays a man who is able to "teleport" around the world, earned an estimated $27.2 million for the Friday-to-Sunday period, distributor 20th Century Fox said.............Both "Fool's Gold" and "Jumper" were eviscerated by critics, but moviegoers evidently warmed to their storylines or advertising campaigns.

Star Trek movie delayed until 2009.

Star Pulse: ''Star Trek'' fans will have to wait a bit longer to see where the crew of the starship Enterprise is boldly going next.
The release of J.J. Abrams' ''Star Trek,'' with a new cast taking on the roles of Capt. James Kirk, Spock and other original characters, has been moved from Christmas Day to May 8, 2009, distributor Paramount said Thursday.
Studio spokesman Michael Vollman said the switch was a business move, not because of any problems with the film caused by the Writers Guild of America strike that just ended.
''Star Trek'' will be finished by fall in time for its original release date, but studio executives decided to hold it until next summer, the film could pull in more money, he said.

New Mom Christina Aguilera denies that she will be appearing in Playboy!

Star Pulse:
Singer Christina Aguilera has denied rumors she is set to bare all in a post-pregnancy nude spread for Playboy magazine. The 27-year-old - who gave birth to her first child, son Max, in January - was reportedly approached by editor-in-chief Hugh Hefner for a saucy shoot in an upcoming issue of the men's magazine.
But a representative for the singer has confirmed the report is "false," although a close friend of the "Dirrty" hitmaker admits the star is "flattered" to be approached.
The pal tells OK! magazine, "That was old Christina; Christina circa four years ago. She's looking to reinvent herself and grow. She wouldn't consider it but she finds it flattering to be offered at all."

Joss Stone shocks Heart disease benefit with smoking comments!

Contact Music
British singer JOSS STONE shocked guests at a heart disease benefit, by singing the praises of cigarettes. The star was one of a number of celebrity guests at a New York Fashion Week bash on Saturday (2FEB08) to promote U.S. National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's (NHLBI) annual Heart Truth awareness campaign. When asked what she did to protect her heart, Stone, 20, revealed she smoked hand-rolled cigarettes - which she wrongly claimed are less harmful than pre-packaged ones. She told the New York Daily News, "In England we smoked rolled cigarettes. It's better to smoke rollies than straights because straights have chemicals that keep them burning. So if you have to really smoke, smoke rollies." A 2006 study established hand-rolled cigarettes are actually more likely to cause lung and oesophageal cancer.

"Lost"'s return was brutal, fast & desperate!

I looooooved last night's episode! The series hasn't lost a beat!
Star Pulse:
The most innovative show on television is back with a vengeance, and it is promising to be better than ever. "Lost" is one of the few that always delivers, and although what it delivers is not necessarily answers or explanations, it does keep us hooked, fascinated, and emotionally invested.
This highly anticipated season four premiere was named "The Beginning of the End" in reference to Ben's (Michael Emerson) comment to Jack (Matthew Fox) that it would be the beginning of the end if they called the believed rescuers. Never had the dangerous, manipulative leader of the Others seemed so sincere, so terrified, and after Charlie's (Dominic Monaghan) dying message 'Not Pennys Boat,' Ben might just be telling the truth. What we know about these rescuers is that they already lied about who they were sent by, and due to trailers for future episodes, we know that rescuing the survivors is not the priority.
I am getting ahead of myself, but it is difficult not to get drawn into the complex plot and start speculating. This episode takes place precisely after the season three finale, and it also involves a flash-forward rather than the regular flashback. This marks the first premiere that is not Jack-centric but rather Hurley-centric, and for good reason since the most significant things that happen in this episode circle around our favorite lottery winner..............
